Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using HookMagnet ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including waitlist subscribers, free plan users, and paid subscribers.

2. The Service

HookMagnet is an AI-powered hook generation tool that helps users create content hooks for social media platforms. We provide the tool as-is and do not guarantee that any generated hook will perform in a specific way on any platform.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

You may use HookMagnet without creating an account (free tier). To save hooks, access your library, or subscribe to Pro, you must create an account using a valid email address.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We use magic link authentication — there are no passwords to manage.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use HookMagnet only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:

• Generate hooks for spam, phishing, or deceptive content
• Produce content that is hateful, harassing, or discriminatory
• Circumvent the free tier limits through automation or multiple accounts
• Resell or redistribute generated hooks as a competing product
• Attempt to reverse engineer or scrape the Service
• Violate the terms of any social media platform you post on

5. Content Ownership

You own the hooks you generate using HookMagnet. We do not claim ownership over your output.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your input data solely to provide the Service to you.

We use aggregated, anonymised usage data to improve the Service. We do not share individual hook content with third parties.

6. Free Plan Limits

The free plan allows 5 generations per day and access to 10 hooks per generation. These limits exist to keep the Service sustainable. Attempting to circumvent these limits may result in account suspension.

7. Paid Subscriptions

Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly at the price shown at the time of purchase. Prices are in GBP and include applicable VAT.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time.

If a payment fails, we will retry automatically. After repeated failures, your account will be downgraded to the free plan.

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.

8. Refunds

We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first Pro subscription payment if you are not satisfied. After 7 days, no refunds are issued. To request a refund, email hello@hookmagnet.com within the 7-day window.

9. AI-Generated Content

Hooks generated by HookMagnet are produced by AI. While we work to ensure quality output, we cannot guarantee accuracy, originality, or suitability for any specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing content before publishing it.

Generated hooks may occasionally be similar to existing content. You are responsible for ensuring your posts comply with copyright and platform rules.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

HookMagnet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HookMagnet and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost followers, or content that underperforms.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, without prior notice in serious cases. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
